Over the Bridge to HGTV’s Santa HQ at the Queens Center Mall

If you’re heading over the bridge and to the Queens Center Mall to finish some of your holiday shopping, be sure to check out to HGTV’s Santa HQ. Located on the second floor, this interactive and immersive Santa experience is back this year- and you have all the way up until Christmas Eve to visit.

With the girls in matching outfits and my husband and I photo ready, we headed to see what the Santa HQ was all about! There are several photo opportunities- so you’ll have more to choose from than just the classic Santa flick.

First up was finding out if our girls made it to the nice list or not! It was a fun way to get the girls excited and smiling! But also a great way to keep them busy while still in line.

Once inside, we checked out Santa’s headquarters. Here we got a sneak at his cookie stash and other fun holiday decor. We also took “Elfies”- a cute video that can be emailed to enjoy watching again later. After, we headed into the control center where we helped guide Santa’s sleigh!

Right before meeting the big guy in the red suit, we took some photos both as a family and just the girls. Our photo package included all of our faves- giving us some great options to choose from.

In the end, we got some great photos with Santa- including an adorable one of them both seeing what the big guy was all about!

Overall, we really liked the Santa HQ experience and an interactive Santa experience is definitely more fun than just waiting in line for a 2 minute photo. The experience kept the girls engaged and happy- making the photo taking a breeze!

For more information on the HGTV Santa HQ, head to www.santa-hq.com. The site allows you to make reservations for your visit and see additional photos and video of the experience. As of now, both the 23rd and 24th are no longer taking online reservations- but walk ups are still welcomed.

Happy Holidays!
