We’ve joined some great organizations for the past few years to help with H.O.P.E. at The Crib, Inc. (Helping Our Parents Excel)‘s annual Halloween Harvest, which takes place in a community garden here in the Bronx- El Batey De Dona Provi. This year Bronxmama along with G.I.V.E, Bronx Awesome, Windows of Hip Hop, and the Merced foundation all came together for this fun outdoor event.
Each year we create some fun crafts and other activities for the kids to enjoy while in their costumes- from pony rides to Halloween crafts. Since Bronxmama has learned about a lot of great products for children and their families, we love to ask a few brands to be a part of our event and share our finds with Bronx families. This year we were happy to share Dick and Jane Education Snacks, Organic Slammers Snacks, and showcase a great 80 pack of Play-doh that is available at BJ’s Wholesale Club.
This Trick or Treat bag of mini Play-dohs is perfect for a candy alternative to hand out to trick or treaters or even give in goodie bags at a Halloween party. www.bjs.com
Once again we featured Slammers at the event for the little ones and they were a hit. Flavors like pomegrante grape and watermelon kiwi are delish- even the older kids were enjoying. www.slammerssnacks.com
These Dick & Jane Educational Snacks are so fun for us- different cookies feature educational components- like these that have presidents and states on each cookie. Great for a fun snack packed with lunch, teachers, or any celebration with kids! www.dickandjanebakingco.com
Thanks to all of our sponsors and co-organizers- looking forward to next year’s fun!
