School is officially out, the pools have opened, and summer weekend trips are being planned. When there are beach bags to pack and coolers to fill, it’s easy to skimp on breakfast in the summertime. A great way to get all of the nutrients you and your family need when you’re on the go is to keep the fridge and freezer stocked with fresh fruits and veggies and be ready to make some delicious juice or smoothie recipes as the kids throw on their bathing suits. We set out to find the perfect appliance to make this an easy routine that we will actually stick to. This is when we decided to try out the Nutri Ninja® Auto-iQ. The thing about buying appliances and trying to incorporate new habits in your routine is that when they get messy or complicated, it’s easy to give up and let those appliances start collecting dust. We knew it was important to find something that can stay on our countertop and not be put away or have to be pulled out from behind the rubble of endless kitchen appliances each day. It might sound silly for some, but we know from experience when you’ve got so many things to do in your morning routine. This Ninja fits perfectly and is easily accessible for our morning rush.
Of course, clean up is also super important because it has to be worth it in order to save the money and make it at home yourself. People go out and spend money verses make their own food, drinks, or coffee because it’s convenient, and simple. So when you want to make a commitment to save the money and know exactly what is going in our recipes, it’s important to be sure you will stick to it. We love that this Ninja comes with two different sized cups as well as lids- making an on the go juice or smoothie as easy as possible.
So far the Nutri Ninja is meeting all of our requirements. Now onto the performance…
We’ve tried several recipes with the Ninja to see it’s power, and the different consistencies it can create. With each ingredient we tried- carrots, frozen fruit, ice, greens, the Ninja did it’s job well and depending on how much ice we added, the consistency was what we wanted. Our goal is get better at pairing fruits and veggies, and memorizing some of our favorite blends from the booklet that came with the Nutri Ninja. We are excited about our new routine with this great appliance to help us!
