Local Fun: Circle Line Kid’s Cruise

School’s out and it’s officially summer for the kids! Whether you’re staying home with the kids or just finding things to do on the weekends- remember that there are only 10 weekends in the summer- so be sure to make the best out of them!

NYC is an amazing place to be in the summer. Even though some choose to spend their summer’s away from the big apple, that just leaves all of the amazing activities to the rest of us! Being that we are surrounded by water, we love finding things to do that involve being on, near, or in the water! One fun thing to do is to take advantage of all of the cruises there are. Whether it’s date night and you want a party cruise, family is visiting and you want a Statue of Liberty cruise, or you just want to cross it off your bucket list- there are so many fun ones to chose from. We recently had the chance to check out Circle Line’s new Kids Cruise series- a family friendly 75 minute cruise to Statue of Liberty with an interactive LIVE tour guide & entertainment.

The cruise is basically a kids version of their classic cruise to the statue. It gives adults the usual experience- with entertainment and fun for the little ones. At only 75 minutes, it’s also a great first cruise for little ones to see how they are with being on the water. Some kids preferred sitting on the deck and just enjoying the views- while other’s stayed downstairs and enjoyed the dance party. Each cruise has a different theme- ours was a Summer Sizzling Radio Disney Dance Party, so the kids enjoyed dancing, a magic show, and balloon animals while parents snapped photos of the NYC skyline. The cruise is a great activity to check off your summer bucket list- and if you have friends or family visiting the city- save this one for then!

The cruise also offers birthday celebration options as well! Check out the upcoming cruises:
