Fall Gardening Programs for Kids at NYBG

School may be around the corner, but kids can still get outside (and get their hands dirty!) this fall at The New York Botanical Garden!  In NYBG’s Children’s Gardening Program, kids plant, tend, and harvest delicious veggies and herbs; prepare and taste the fruits of their labor; and enjoy nature with new friends in the beautiful setting of the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden.

 
Weekday and Saturday programs are available for kids ages 3-5 and a Saturday program is available for kids ages 6-12:

 

•  Garden Sprouts, Ages 3–5

6 Saturdays, Sept. 7–Oct. 19, 9:30–11 a.m.

6 Wednesdays, Sept. 11 – Oct. 16, 1-2:30 p.m.

•  Garden Crafters, Ages 6–12

6 Thursdays, Sept. 12–Oct. 17, 9–11:30 a.m.
