Stories Celebrating Delightful Dads

One hour of fun-filled, child friendly stories, featuring early childhood educator (and Pelham Parkway’s resident storyteller) Cheryl De Leaver, accompanied in performance by “Sequisha”, a multi-culturally sensitive puppet! Stories are interactive and designed to build confidence, critical thinking, questioning and imagination skills needed to develop an early love for reading and writing! Each session includes a craft project!

Family Art Project: T’s for Dad and Me/Franelas pará Papa y yo
Saturday, Jun 15 and Sunday June 16, 10:00AM-1:00PM

Think of an animal to represent you and one to represent Dad, and draw them together as a tribute to the two of you. With fabric markers and special crayons, decorate a summer T-shirt with your animal pair. Use a T-shirt we provide or bring your own.

Take Dad Out to the Ball Game 1864!
Sunday, June 16, 1–3:00 p.m.

Celebrate Dad with a Father’s Day “base ball match.” The New York Mutuals play with 1864 rules, balls, bats, and uniforms—but no helmets or gloves! After the game, kids join in the fun with a game of rounders with team members. Plus free house tours and a raffle for the game ball! Registration requested. Cost $10 adults, $8 seniors, students, and members; $5 children 12 and under.

The Three Little Pigs meet Charlie’s Angels in this hilarious Kung Fu Wolf Caper spoof of the classic children’s story. Children will be introduced to the oboe, clarinet, and bassoon in musical selections before the show.
