On Monday, from 12-2pm, hit up the Hunts Point Recreation Center for a volleyball clinic for all ages. Learn the essentials and techniques such as shuffling, the basic stance, passing, setting, and serving. 12-2 pm Hunts Point Recreation Center.

On Tuesday you have two chances to take part of a Tug O’ War Competition at the Olen Dolen Recreation Center. Develop a good level of all around body strength and fitness that is simple and fun-filled. 11-12 pm and 3-4 pm, Olen Dolen Recreation Center
On Wednesdays hit up the Hunts Point Recreation Center to teach your children double dutch. That’s right-you get to do the teachin’ this time. The center provides the ropes, you provide the know-how. 7-8pm Hunts Point Recreation Center.
While the kids are in school on Thursday-or at the babysitter (or maybe even sleeping in the stroller), sweat off some of that winter buldge with someZumba. The routines feature aerobic, fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance steps. 9-10 AM, St. Mary’s Recreation Center

On Friday take the family to The Moshulu Montefiore Community Center for an introductory Karate class for all ages. 6-7 pm The Moshulu Community Center
Then on Saturday, hit up St. Mary’s Recreation Center for a basketball clinic. Parents come out and teach your children the fundamentals of basketball. Teach them how to play the game “old school” and show off your skills. We know you still got it! 9 am-12 pm, St. Mary’s Recreation Center
