While there are plenty of cool Easter events and activities all over the five boroughs, don’t leave the Bronx off of your itinerary.

Easter Egg Hunt at Bartow Pell Mansion Saturday April 16th-10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

This is one day when it’s okay to put all your eggs in one basket! Children 2 – 12 hunt for eggs in the formal garden, tap their talent at arts and crafts tables, and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Please bring your own basket. Light refreshments offered. Registration is requested. The rain date is Sunday, April 17, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Cost children 2 – 12 $12; members $10

Easter Arts & Crafts-Van Cortlandt Library Branch-April 20th-3:30 pm

For ages 5 to 12 years. Celebrate Easter and make an adorable bunny masks.

Easter Event at the Hunts Point Recreation Center Saturday, April 23, 2011-1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

FREE Children and families will experience high energy fun. They will participate in arts and crafts projects like making bunny masks to be worn during the event. They will compete in contests such as the bunny hop, sack races, and egg/spoon races. Prizes will be raffled off.

Music Inspired by Easter and Passover by members of the Bronx Symphony Orchestra with other Bronx Musicians-Bronx Library Center-April 23, 2011, 2:30 p.m

A string orchestra concert by members of the Bronx Symphony Orchestra with other Bronx musicians conducted by Joe Sherman. Music that is inspired by Easter and Passover will be performed, including excerpts from Messiah and Israel in Egypt by Handel along with more contemporary selections.
