Conspirare’s name derives from the Latin words con andspirare, which translates as “to breathe together.” Since its founding in 1991, Conspirare has continued to bring together people through the art of song by combining outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. During this Neighborhood Concert you’ll be invited to listen to the repertoire of folk, spiritual, and classical choral repertoire that makes this choir unique.
Led by founder and artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare’s extraordinarily talented singers have recorded five-time Grammy nominated albums and annually present concerts in Austin, other Texas communities, and locations in the U.S. and abroad.
