The Police Athletic League (PAL) kicks-off its After School Programs in the Bronx on Monday, September 13, 2010. Homework help, basketball, dance class, poetry sessions and computer research on the Theme of the Month are all activities that a Bronx child experiences during a typical week at PAL’s After School Programs. From September through June, After School Programs at PAL’s New South Bronx Center in the South Bronx, PAL’s Webster-Giannone Center in Fordham-Tremont and PAL’s PS 48 in Hunts Point provide a supervised environment for Bronx children filled with fun, excitement, learning and camaraderie. Mondays through Fridays, from when school dismisses until 6:00 p.m., PAL Centers are filled with youngsters in first through eighth grades taking part in the multiple opportunities available through the After School Programs.
