Workshop series will engage participants in healthy eating, strength training, intenSati and Anusara yoga every Saturday in August at NYRP community gardens across New York City
WHAT: New York Restoration Project (NYRP) presents Restore Yourself: Fit Club, in partnership with Coca-Cola. NYRP Fit Club is a four-week program aimed at engaging community members to exercise while encouraging healthy eating and wellness practices that promote a balanced lifestyle.
These free, outdoor exercise classes are a great way to get outside and join NYRP in our community gardens. Each Saturday through the month of August, participants will be introduced to strength and aerobic exercise, nutritional education and meditation principles through a series of hour-long sessions led by licensed instructors and specialists. Components of yoga, IntenSati and core strengthening will help to burn calories while educating about proper form, tempo and mindset needed for a fulfilling and exciting workout.
