There’s no denying how important it is for kids and teens to be involved in some kind of activity. Whether it be a local sports team, a rec center, or a part time job; its a great experience for them-and a weight off our shoulders!

*Bronx House Summer Fun
For 3 and 4 year olds
Looking for something fun and exciting for your pre-schooler this summer? Bronx House is proud to offer “Summer Fun”, a pre-camp program for children ages 3-4 years old. Pre-schoolers are given a comfortable introduction to pre-kindergarten with our indoor camp program in our building.The program will include swimming in our indoor pool, 2 trips to Henry Kaufmann Campground in Pearl River, NY playground, arts and crafts, music, games, songs, and much more. *Children’s Arts and Sciences Workshops
The Summer Day Camps offer indoor and outdoor recreation as well as cultural and educational field trips. Every day, the programs attempt to balance learning and fun. Trips range from amusement parks to museums, and include weekly swimming trips to parks outside the city. Participants keep journals of their experiences throughout the summer.

Bronx YMCA Day Camp
They currently offer both Youth and Teen programs.
Summer Youth Employment Program
Through the Summer Youth Employment Program, youth gain work experience and participate in workshops developing job and academic skills as well as good citizenship. In 1984, CASW was the first agency in the community to offer the program, and Northern Manhattan youth have used its resources ever since.
Support services include:
- computer assisted learning
- training in health and business careers
- work readiness instruction
- financial literacy workshops
- career exploration
- post secondary education options
- health and well-being
- youth leadership
- conflict resolution workshops
- substance abuse workshops
- violence prevention
